Pleats and Alternatives...

Most people know what rod pocket drapes are, but pleats are another matter.  Here are a few examples of different styles:

French Pleats.

Flat Panels.

Tab Top Drapes.

Rosette Mounted Drapes.

Goblet Pleats.

Hard to see, but that looks like a butterfly pleat to me.
